Vegetables with noodles -- (modified from Chinese Cookbook #2, Australian Women's Weekly)

1 lb pre-cooked thin noodles
1 tbsp peanut oil
5 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp finely chopped fresh ginger (optional)
1 bunch broccoli, trimmed and finely chopped
1 c chopped mushrooms
8 dried Chinese mushrooms (cooked)
2 c cauliflower finely chopped
any other vegetables you like
1 tsp cracked black peppercorns (optional)
1 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp chopped fresh garlic chives (optional)

Heat oil in wok add garlic and prepared vegetables, stir-fry until vegetables are almost tender.

Add noodles and remaining ingredients. Stir-fry until noodles are warm.

Serves 6.
