2 c cooked quinoa
1 onion, chopped
1-4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp Spike or preferred seasoning
1/2 c mayonnaise
1 egg, beaten (optional) This makes for a firmer burger
1/2 c celery, chopped (optional)
1/2 c cauliflower (optional)
1/2 c mushrooms (optional)
1/2 carrots (optional)
Combine the the mayonnaise, garlic, seasonings and beaten egg. Stir the quinoa, onions and mayonnaise together.
Chop the vegetables into small pieces and steam until tender. Mash and add to the quinoa, onions and mayonnaise.
Wet hands and form patties. Cook on well oiled griddle or frying pan until golden brown.
