Tofu Meatballs

1 pkg (545 g) Medium tofu (with excess H2O squeezed out)
¼ c chopped walnuts
2 WASA crackers crushed OR ¼ c bread crumbs
1 mashed banana
3 green onions, finely chopped

Mix all ingredients together. Form into 1-1½" diameter balls (makes ~ 18 meatballs). Deep fry 8 minutes in deep fryer (~ 2 loads) or fry in skillet. Remove from oil, pat dry gently. Bake in oven set at 350°F for 20 minutes. Serve with favorite meatball sauce or gravy.
