Scalloped potato soup -- (from Wilmum)

2 tbsp olive oil
5 small-medium potatoes sliced
cabbage
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp garlic
mushrooms
1 tsp garlic, crushed
2 bouillon cubes in 4 c water
grated carrot

Heat olive oil in heavy wide pot. Cook onion and garlic ~ 2 minutes. Add sliced potatoes cook ~ 5-10 minutes, add cabbage and bouillon cubes and water, slice mushrooms and grated carrot, cook until potatoes are just tender.
